It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jeremiah by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jeremiah:

Hi M. Fightmaster, I've approved a merge of my Jeremiah Osborne-337 and Jeremiah "of South Fork" Osborn-2692. There is a problem with my Jeremiah's (-337) profile in that Karen Ross has added children to his profile that cannot be correct. I've asked her to either show evidence or remove them. If she does not remove them, I will. Thanks so much for your evidence of place of death. Jeanie Bond (Doran-349)

These three children have no spouses or children of their own. I've sent a message to their manager, Karen Ross, asking for documentary evidence that these children are in fact related in any way to Osborne-337, and to removed them if she cannot. I'll wait 2 weeks for her to respond and then removed them myself.

The merge of Osborn-2692 and Osborne-337 should be rejected until a death date is supported by trusted sources. Ancestry trees, FindAGrave, My Heritage, "I don't know where I saw it, but...", etc. are NOT trusted sources.

Osborn-2692 and Osborne-337 appear to represent the same person because: dups with same parents and same wife and same son

I received this in January -- As you read this, please note that there IS NO EVIDENCE presented:

Hello Jeanie BOND; "I see there has been an up-date on Jeremiah Osborn[e] & you & others are questioning his birth yr. "Don't remember where I saw it [My Heritage?] but what is showing is a birth yr of 26/78 Mar,1697 as a correct birth year. This would clear up children from two wife's "The children not quite in order & you show George's birth yr as 1735, it's more like 1725. "Just wanted to say. -- Rob VanDYNE on wikiTree. 316-773-2618 [email address removed] I SENT A REPLY ASKING FOR SOURCES AND EVIDENCE.

Can we detach these children? They could not possibly be the children because the father was too young at the time.

upon saving, received the following automated message:
Warning: Check the data.
  • A child's birth date (Osborn-250 born 1711) should not be before a parent is six years old (Osborne-337 born 21 Jun 1706).

Osborn-2692 and Osborne-337 do not represent the same person because: There is very little in common between Osborn-2692 and Osborne-337. I do not think they are a match. More evidence is needed.

Osborn-2692 and Osborne-337 appear to represent the same person because: same name; same spouse. NOTE - check children's birth - Jeremiah was less than ten years old when some of them were born!!
Osborn-1140 and Osborne-337 do not represent the same person because: Do NOT think the Jeremiah of Mass. is the same Jeremiah of
