Anna's maiden name is stated in a record of the marriage of her son Jasper Newton Campbell and Dinah Green Creekmore on Nov. 17, 1825, in Whitley County, Kentucky.
After her husband James died in 1830, Anna lived with her grandson Will Campbell. She was living with him at the time of the 1840 census and in 1850, when she was listed as being 85 years of age.
