DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jacob by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jacob:

Better sources needed to confirm parents. Place of death indicated as Kansas in Ancestry.com

Osborn-452 and Osborn-448 appear to represent the same person because: While Osborn-448 has more data than Osborn-452, the only difference I can see is that -448 has more information in the place of birth and the place of death varies. Their both dead in Iowa but different towns or counties.

You could Cut & Paste this URL into your web browser's address bar and see what I think is Jacob's Find a Grave.com Memorial.

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?pagegr&GRid31386612

It shows Jacob with your dates (except it claims he didn't die on his birthday), Barbara Mary as his wife, Silas and 4 more children, His parents and two siblings. There's a photo of the tombstone.

I think you should merge these two. Then you can add much to his Profile based on the Find a Grave.com memorial. One of his siblings is Benjamin Franklin Osborn, which you manage Benjamin's profile too.
