c and hospital in Garnett. Afterteh accidental death of Dr. Thornburg and the closing of his clinic and hospital, Dr. Osborn built an accredited hospital in Colony, eventually practicing in Allen and
Anderson county hopsitals.

From 1951 through 1954, he took extensive leaves from his office and went to Los Angeles County College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery to earn a certi

ficate in opthalmology. He received membership in the Specialty College of Opthalmology and Otolaryngology which progressed into a life membership in April 1985.
