All references to Jane Osborne state her birth as being either in 1622 or 1642 in Boxley , Kent, England. It is well documented that Thomas Osborne arrived in Jamestown in 1619 on the Bona Nova, three years before Jane's earliest given date of birth in England. Thomas Osborne, who died in Henrico, Virginia was not her father.
