Genealogically Defined

Thomas Charles was born on the 24th June 1885[1][2] at Trafalgar Road, Old Kent Road, Camberwell[3][4][5], Surrey, England and baptised on the 12th July 1885 at St. John the Evangelist, Walworth, Surrey, England, the son of William George Ottley (labourer) and Emma Ottley of 1 Park Place[6]

On the 13th January 1912, Thomas Charles Ottley married Ethel Eleanor Newnum at St. Mary, Southwark, London, England. Thomas Charles Ottley, 26, bachelor, plumber of 4 Northampton Street, son of William George Ottley (japanner); and Ethel Eleanor Newnum, 25, spinster of 16 Marcia Road, daughter of George Frederick Newnum (printer). Witnessed by Henry Ottley & Nora Rang*croft[7]

In 1912 Thomas Charles was occupied as a jointer's mate and was living at 122 Sumner Road, North Peckham, London, England[8]
