Elizabeth Owen was born circa 1512 at Buddington in Easebourne, Sussex, England.[1]

- She married Sir Thomas Burgh, son of Sir Thomas Burgh, 3rd Lord Burgh and Agnes Tyrwhitt, before 27 April 1535. They had 3 children:[1]

- Humphrey
- Arthur
- All were declared bastards in an Act of Parliament passed in 1543.[1]
