Biography

Susan Gertrude Owens [1][2] daughter of Lawrence T. and Margaret "Maggie" (Smith) Owens,[3] was born in Oct. 1884 at Illinois, USA,[4] probably in Sterling as that is where her sister, Mary, was born.[3] She appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 in the household of her father, Lawrence T. Owens, at Sterling, Whiteside County, Illinois.[4]

She married Louis Edwin Boos circa 1905.[5]

She and Louis appeared on the census of 12 May 1910 at Akron Township, Peoria County, Illinois. [5]

Susan died in 1954, probably in Ogle County, Illinois, and was buried at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Rochelle, Ogle County, Illinois. Her memorial has the date of her death.[6]
