BRUCE CLINTON BOATMAN CONT …the former Rae Nell Forrester CONT Rae Nell Forrester is bride of Bruce Clinton Boatman CONT Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Clinton Boatman will be at home after June 4 at 109 Carrizo. Mrs. Boatman is the former Miss Rae Nell Forrester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lelon R. Forrester, 4718 Easter. Mr. Boatman, who is attached to ATU-10, Naval Air Station, is the son of Mrs. Mildred Campbell and Bruce E. Boatman of Rochester, N. Y. CONT The wedding was Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Chauncey Acrey officiated at the double ring ceremony. CONT A white arch of gladiolus and chrysanthemums decorated the altar. CONT Given in marriage by her father[,] the bride wore a dress fashioned with nylon lace bodice and Peter Pan collar. The large gathered band that formed a bustle and bow in the back had a nylon net overskirt. A dutch lave cap held the fingertip illusion veil. Her flowers were white cascade chrysanthemums, stephanotis, carnations and a lavender orchid. CONT Maid of Honor CONT Miss Barbara Sue Forrester, maid of honor and sister of the bride, wore a similar dress of sky blue. Pink carnations and blue cornflowers with pink ribbon formed the cascade bouquet. Her headpiece was a nose veil of pink and blue net with pink carnations and blue cornflowers. CONT Don L. McDaniel, USN, served as best man, and H. L. Dearing and Jerry Tabor ushered. CONT A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, where a low banquet table with white cloth held the open book cake inscribed with the names of the bride and groom. CONT Serving at the bride’s table were Miss Dorothy Huff, Miss Benney E. Ogsworth of San Antonio, Miss Elizabeth Roesing and Mrs. Robert Harter. CONT Brown Linen CONT The bride’s travel ensemble was a brown linen suit with tan collar and cuffs, tan shoes and bag. Her fan straw hat was trimmed in brown. CONT A graduate of Brackenridge High School, San Antonio, she attended San Antonio Junior College and Southwestern University, Georgetown. The bridegroom attended Monroe High School in Rochester, N. Y.[,] before entering the U. S. Navy. CONT Out-of-two guests were Mrs. J. B. Forrester of Wrightsboro; Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. L. A.
