Biography

Abigail Marsh was born in about 1669 in Hingham, Massachusetts. She was the youngest child of Onesiphorus Marsh and Hannah (Cutler) Marsh.

She was adopted by her aunt and uncle - John Page and Mary Marsh Page - of Haverhill. She married Abial Mercer/Messer in January 1694/5 in Haverhill. "Mercer, Abial, and Abigail Mash, [married] Jan. 3, 1694-5." The couple had seven children: Richard, Thomas, John, Nathaniel, Theophilus, Hannah and Abigail Messer.

Abigail Marsh Mercer/Messer passed away in Methuen, Massachusetts. "Abagiel, wid. Abiel, Mar. 3, 1761, in her 90th y."
