Biography

Martha was the wife of Isom Puckett I (1724-aft.1775). She died sometime after 1775, possibly in VA or NC. Her maiden name is speculative and unproven. She is commonly referred to as Martha Page.

Martha Page may have also been a sister to Axelheath Page of King and Queen County and Goochland Co. VA. The Page/Puckett families later moved to NC before moving to Greenville Co. SC and then to Pendleton Co. SC. Her descendant, Page Puckett, is last found in Hall Co. GA, in 1830.

Martha Elizabeth Page, listed as being born in Grayson co. VA in 1723 is incorrect. Grayson Co. VA did not exist in 1723.. She was likely born in King and Queen Co. VA where some of a Page family lived before moving to Goochland Co. King and Queen Co. was formed from New Kent Co. in 1691. Francis Page along with Axelheath Page and others lived in K and Q. before their death or move out of the county. Martha was likely a sister to Axelheath Page. Parents are unknown
