Research Note

Dolores Rutherford, (of California, now deceased) an extensive researcher of the Page family, quoted Marriages of Goochland Co., Virginia by Williams, Kathleen Booth, 1960, as having a marriage date of 14 Apr 1794,. The Williams book shows Mary's father as William, an error. The actual marriage bond, quoted above, shows her father as James Page. See Goochland County Virginia Court Orders, 1728-1805.
