Biography

Rebecca Paine was married first to Peter Hunt.[1] They married in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, on 24 December 1673.[2]

Peter Hunt died, and on 21 November 1677 Rebeka Hunt was married to Samuel Peck at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, as his second wife.[3]

On 31 October 1677, the Plymouth court ordered that Rebeckah Peck, relict of the said Peter Hunt shall have and enjoy all and singular the moveables of the estate as her own property.[4]

She died at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, in June 1699.[5]

On 9 January 1699, Jacob Pepper of Roxbury and Daniel Aldis of Dedham, husbandmen, granted power of attorney to their "well beloved brother" Samuel Peck of Rehoboth.[6]

On 6 September 1699, Enoch Hunt of Rehoboth conveyed 2 acres of meadow to Samuel Peck of Rehoboth as part of a marriage agreement. Samuel had married "the relict of Peter Hunt Junr." and granted to Enoch his subsequent interest in the home lot where Enoch dwelt in return for the meadowland.[7]
