Biography
Emma was born in 1853.[1] She was the daughter of Joseph Paine and Emma Vaughan.[2] She married Charles Martin in 1870.[3]
She passed away in 1935.
In the 1861 England Census Joseph Paine 40 born about 1821 in Brighton, Sussex, England, was head of his household in 6 Cavendish P N , Brighton, Sussex. Other Household Members, all born in Brighton, were his wife Emma Paine 38, and their children, Joseph Paine 18, Stephen Paine 16, Thomas Paine 14, Frederick Paine 11, Friend Paine 9, Emma Paine 7, Henry Paine 5, George Paine 3, and Caroline Paine 7/12. Their lodger was George Sargent 16. [4][5]
