Elizabeth Paine was born on 14 December 1718 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay. She married 1) Thomas Smith Jr. (1720-1752) on 16 February 1741 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts and 2) John Snow (1700-1766) on 21 July 1764 in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts and 3) in 1771 to Samuel Doane (1697-1778). Hannah Paine was born on 9 February 1722 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay. Banns were posted on 3 December 1743 and she married Isaac Crowell (c. 1722-1820) on 19 January 1743/44 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Hannah died in 1812.
Phebe Paine was born on 2 December 1724 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay. She married Constant Hopkins (1720-1800) on 21 December 1743 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Phebe died on 6 May 1798 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States.

Barnstable, Massachusetts Wills and Probate Records. Vol. 8-11, 1745-1781 for Jonathan Paine will. Probated 28 January 1752/3. Will written 8 January 1752 in Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay. Will: Will states he is a yeoman, very sick. (Difficult to read.) He does talk about his sons Daniel and Jonathan, and his wife Mary, 4 daughters. He later clearly says his "2 sons and 4 daughters". He gives his sons the grist mill and there seems to be quite a lot of land. He also gives to his wife his Negro Woman, named Cata and a Little Mulatto Servant, named Fr.... a child. Daughters are Hannah Crowell, Phebee Hopkins, Sarah Snow, Elizabeth Smith.
