Death
George was seriously injured while being thrown from horseback while in Sussex, Wyoming (probably visiting son) He traveled all the way to the hospital in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to be seen by medical staff and they checked him into the hospital. He had to have surgery for a strangulated inguinal hernia, it helped to relieve some suffering but he died the next day.
