Biography

George was born in 1849. He was the son of William Palmer and Mary Purdin. He passed away in 1925 <[1]>

Moved to Utah (Philemon C. Merrill Company (1856) Age at Departure: 5 with parents while young,
He then at his young years moved eastward, ended in Nebraska in Adams County area to Silver Lake Township, Scottsbluff; after his wife passed away he visited his children in other states.

He and his wife became members of the Christian Church were they were married near Silver Lake Township, Nebraska.


Marriage 23 Jun 1873 • Adams County, Nebraska, USA Estella Jane Mattock (1855–1917)

Death George was seriously injured while being thrown from horseback while in Sussex, Wyoming (probably visiting son) He traveled all the way to the hospital in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to be seen by medical staff and they checked him into the hospital. He had to have surgery for a strangulated inguinal hernia, it helped to relieve some suffering but he died the next day.
