Biography

The 1930 Census shows Lulu and her son John Palmer Frey, living with her Husband, John Zerbe Frey, her in-laws, John A and Estelle M Frey, as well as her husband's sisters , Margaret, Genevieve and Catherine, and her husband's paternal grandmother, Margaret Frey, 82.

A birth certificate with the same birthdate as Lulu Rosamond Palmer Frey, is registered to Albert and Mattie Palmer, as belonging to a "single birth infant" named Shirley M. Palmer.

Did Lulu change her name? Did her parents? Found the corrected birth certificate, evidently not recorded until much later, in March of 1968.
