Biography
In 1850, Phoebe Palmer is living with her married sister, Hannah Harshbarger and Hannah's husband Jacob Harshbarger. By 1870, she is living with her niece, Sarah Harshbarger Conroy, Hannah having died. She is still living with her niece Sarah's family in 1880, at the age of 82.. The 1880 census reveals that Phoebe's father, Budd Palmer, was born in NY, while her mother was born in NJ.
