Biography
Married Robert McElroy in Mifflin, PA, on August 17, 1865 at the First United Methodist Church.
Her portrait clearly also establishes that she survived up through Civil War days.
She and Robert appear in the 1870 census for Brown, Mifflin Co, PA, with two young children: Bruce (4) and Annie (2)
Neither Annie or Amelia appear in the census of 1880. It is surmised that they died sometime between 1870 and 1880.
Amelia is listed on the death certificate for her son Bruce.
