Biography

Zebulon Palmer (I) was born 4 Feb 1713/14 at Stonington, Connecticut. He was the second child of Hannah Palmer and George Palmer. He had 4 siblings.

Zebulon Palmer married twice, both at Stonington, Connecticut:

1) Zebulon Palmer, resident of Stonington {Connecticut} married Comfort Fairbanks of Sherbourne, May 25,1737 in Stonington, Connecticut. The officiant was Rev. Samuel Porter[1]

Comfort and Zebulon Palmer had 3 children:

  1. Lidea Palmer, b. 24 Mar 1738[2]
  2. Hannah Palmer, b. 19 Jun 1739[3]; married Ebenezer Palmer
  3. Zebulon Palmer (II), b. 12 Mar 1741[4]; d. 24 Nov 1760
Comfort died 20 Oct 1741, after which Zebulon married:

2) 3 Apr 1743 Deborah York. They had 7 children:

  1. Joshua Palmer, b. 12 Mar 1744
  2. Deborah Palmer, b. 29 Mar 1745
  3. Gideon Palmer, b. 14 Jan 1749/50; d. 18 Sep 1756
  4. Paul Palmer, b. 1 Apr 1754
  5. Jairus Palmer, b. 2 Feb 1756
  6. Jephtha Palmer, b. 14 Aug 1758
  7. Temperance Palmer, b. 16 Aug 1760

Zebulon Palmer passed away in 1776.

Since you do agree that they are the same person, a merge would be the best way to handle the situation.

Palmer-14160 and Palmer-10537 are not ready to be merged because: I agree that these are the same person and should not be listed as brothers.

Palmer-14160 and Palmer-10537 appear to represent the same person because: Per email with the profile manager for Palmer14160, these are the same person, entered in duplicate by a different profile manager. There are only 5 children among the birth family for this person, only one of which was named Zebulon:

Palmer-13753 and Palmer-10537 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same father and same birth date and place.
