School Teacher, member of the Teaching Staff of the Haitaitai and Wadestown Schools; member of the Tararua Tramping Club.
Educated at Wellington College and Victoria University.
Death and burial
He was lost in a fog and died in rugged hill country, behind Kekerangu, Marlborough, whilst on a shooting expedition in March 1927.
