Biography

Walter Palmer was the eighth child of Ann Denison & Gershom Palmer of Stonington, Connecticut. He was Christened on 7 Jun 1685 at Stonington.

He married Aug. 7, 1712 Grace Vose, daughter of Edward and Waitstill Vose of Milton, Massachusetts. They were married at the First Congregational Church, Stonington, Connecticut. They had 3 children:

1. Grace Palmer, b. before 1717
2. Walter Palmer, b. 29 Jul 1717
3. William Palmer, b. 31 Aug 1718

Walter Palmer died 11 Feb 1726/27 at Stonington. His grave is in Wequetequock Burial Ground, Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA, which is located just northeast of Stonington at the junction of Palmer Neck Rd. with Greenhaven Rd.: Find A Grave: Memorial #16745729
