Biography

Elihu Palmer, born 19 JAN 1699/1700 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, was the seventh and final child of Jonah / Jonas Palmer and Elizabeth Kendrick .

By all accounts so far evident, he married 30 Sep 1725 @ Windham, Connecticut, Abigail Robinson.

Note: Per the Palmer Groups reference, Abigail Robinson was a daughter of Peter Robinson and Ruth Fuller, however their actuarial data as currently profiled do not permit them to be the parents of Abigail (born about 1700). Her identity probably was the Abigail Robinson, daughter of Peter Robinson and Experience Lombard, who was thus a sister of Peter Robinson who married Ruth Fuller. This premise is borne out by information presented here: Find A Grave: Memorial #43473992 (however as a note of caution, this grave "finding" site is intrinsically unsourced). Finally, and also as stated in the Palmer Groups source, "The will of Elihu Palmer, senior, was drawn in Windham, May 12, 1764. In it he mentions [redacted] his son-in-law, Peter Robinson, junior, and his wife, my daughter Abigail, etc." This passage rules out any premise that the wife of Elihu Palmer could have been a daughter of Peter Robinson (junior) and Ruth Fuller because in view of Elihu's progeny listings below (in bold) she would have been his own granddaughter.
