Research Notes
There seems to be a conflict with Fasti Ecclesiae Hiberniae[3] which states:
1787. Joseph Palmer, M. A. Chancellor of Ferns, was presented May 26 ; instituted June 22 ; installed same day. In 1801 he obtained the Praecentorship of Waterford. He died at Bath, after a long continuance of ill-health, on May 1, 1829.

Palmer-9407 and Palmer-2736 appear to represent the same person because: from my information my Joseph Palmer was the son of John Palmer and Mary Reynolds, daughter of Samuel Reynolds, and sister of Sir Joshua Reynolds and so did your, Joseph Palmer ( PS Joseph had 22 children, one wife)
