Elizabeth Mallory was born about 1640 to Thomas Mallory.[citation needed][1] Thomas's wife Jane died on February 12, 1638/9 in Northenden, England.[2]
Thomas had two daughters by Frances,[2] who is named in his will. (Frances, shown as his second wife by Richardson, is shown as his third wife by Reitwiesner, following Mary, whom he married before 1643.[3][4]) Also named in Thomas's will is a daughter Susanna.[5] (No record of a daughter named Elizabeth has as yet been found.)
Elizabeth, born in 1640, could be the Elizabeth Mallory said to have married Martin Palmer in 1655[citation needed] & be the mother of Elizabeth Palmer, born c. 1660, who is said to have married Richard X. Chandler.
Elizabeth Palmer (presumed daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Mallory) Palmer) married Robert X. Chandler:[6]
Robert X. Chandler "was born April 30, 1659 in York Co., VA, and died 1710 in New Kent Co., VA." He married Elizabeth Palmer in New Kent Co. in 1683. Daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Mallory) Palmer, she was "born 1664 in King William Co., VA, and died 1745 in Virginia."[7]
Elizabeth Palmer was believed to be the daughter of Martin Palmer, she was born about 1664 in King William, Virginia, her date of death is unknown, although 1745 has been given (Note: the 1745 comes from unsourced trees[8].).[citation needed]
Elizabeth married about 1685, Robert Chandler the son of Robert Chandler and Elizabeth.
Joseph Chandler born 11 August 1697, (1699/1700) died 11 October 1764[9]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
1. I believe she is the Daughter of Capt. Roger Mallory. According to John Mallory's , Citizen and Leather seller of London, Dated 23 May 1747 - He says "to the children of my sister Elizabeth Palmer (Sic) 300 pounds - - To the Children of my brother Roger 1200 pounds - - and to the children of my brother Thomas 1200 pounds - - to the children of my sister Quarles 3000 pounds - - to the children of my brother Charles 400 pounds. . .
2. All named were the children of Capt. Roger Mallory, son of Rev. Thomas Mallory
3. Virginia Will Records - Notes from barton's Colonial decisions, p. 533 (p. 289) Palmer V. Word - Oct. Court 1738
It says, at the Oct Court 1738 - (in the York Records there is this entry: December 10, 1676. It is the opinion of the Court about the estate of Benjamin Crosshaw decd. sonne of Capt. Richard Croshaw dec'd. that Capt. Martin Palmer as intermarrying the relict of the said Capt. Richard Croshaw decd to have administration in right of Rachel youngest daughter, and Mr. Rice Jones, in right of his wife, on the said Benjamin his estate." On January 14 1677 a commission
4. It has been said the Richard Crosshaw married and Elizabeth and that same Elizabeth at the death of her husband married Capt. Martin Palmer. This Elizabeth is Identified her her brother John's Will as I have described above.
Hi there. Elizabeth Palmer Chandler is sort of an important link in my family tree, and someone else has raised doubts in my mind about whether or not she was really a Palmer. If she was born in 1664 and her mother was born in 1625, then that means her mother would have been about 38-39 years old at the time of her birth. I find this to be a little hard to believe. I wish we could find out the truth.
My questions are: 1. Does Martin Palmer, Sr. Born 1625, have a will? who is mentioned in that will? Son's / Daughters, wives, etc. 2. how many wives did he have there seems to be a lot of confusion with that. 3. Who were the kids born to each wife? 4. There Seems to be Confusion about Elizabeth Mallory, daughter of Roger Mallory and who she married either Martin Palmer, Sr. born 1625 or his son Martin Palmer, Jr. born 1653. 5. Then there is the Elizabeth Palmer born 1640 married Robert Chandler born 1659 married 1684. Some believe she is Elizabeth Mallory, daughter of Roger Mallory's Daughter. What's the Proof 6. Can't Elizabeth Palmer b. 1640, be daughter of Martin Palmer, Sr. born 1625 by one of his wives? 7. & Elizabeth Mallory wife of Martin, jr. 1653?
p.s. I think I've proposed merges, reattached as needed to place the detached profiles where they belong. Let me know if you see something I missed (or something you want to discuss). Thanks!
Elizabeth Mallory-117, daughter of Roger Mallory, had the following profiles attached (detached 3/28/15), which should be attached to either this Elizabeth Palmer or her mother Elizabeth Mallory:

Mallory-901 and Mallory-394 appear to represent the same person because: same parents, general birth date, death info. Not sure she's daughter of Thomas; fairly certain she's not daughter of his first wife Jane (so the 1640 birth is more likely, as it would be after Jane died Feb. 1638/9).
Hi! I'm working on the profile of Thomas Mallory-118. Richardson has two daughters by Jane - Jane & Mary - and two daughters by Frances but doesn't name them. Daughter Susanna is named in his will. Elizabeth could be the other daughter not named in Richardson, but I haven't found mention that he had a daughter named Elizabeth. Can you post a non-Ancestry source for her parents? (or the source cited in the Ancestry tree if you can see it & there is one). Thanks!

Palmer-2791 and Palmer-5007 appear to represent the same person because: There appear to be a few Elizabeth Palmer married to Robert chandler same dates.
