Thomas went with his parents to Newton where he soon married and settled on the land that was given to him by his father-in- law, Noah Wiswall. He later built a farmhouse on this land, which he and his descendants occupied for about 140 years until the farm was sold out of the family in 1909.
Thomas died in Newton on 02 July 1820.[2]
