Joseph was born in 1735 to Jonathan Palmer and Florence Durrance. [1]

Marriage and Children

He married in 1760 to Hannah Pancoast, who was a member of the Wrightstown Monthly Meeting of the Quakers. After their marriage they first resided near Fallsington in Bucks County, PA. In 1774, they removed from the Falls Monthly Meeting to Philadelphia. They had one childL [1]
