Alice V Palmer was born 14 Jan 1907 in Middletown, Warren, Ohio, United States. She was the daughter of Lylburn Palmer and Mary Stanage.^[1]

She married James O. Layer on 03 Aug 1929 in Butler, Ohio, United States.^[2] Their Children included James P Layer born in Ohio in 1929, Susan Layer born in Ohio in 1931, and Lyburn T Layer born in Ohio in 1937.^[3][4]

She died 28 Aug 1976 in Middletown, Butler, Ohio, United States^[5] and was buried in Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Butler, Ohio, United States, PLOT Sec. 18 Lot: 310 sp. 5.
