Edward Palmer was baptised at Charlton Marsall, Dorset on 30 December 1708. [1] He was the third of eight children of Samuel Palmer and Catherine Wake.
Edward Palmer of Charlton matriculated to Merton College, Oxford University on 18 May 1727 and obtain a B.A. in 1732.[2]
Edward Palmer, clerk of Wylie, Wiltshire married Mary Barry at St John's Church, Bedminster , Somerset (but part of Bristol) on 16 April 1735. [3] Children known from the marriage are
Edward's sister Catherine had married Mary's brother Richard in 1726.
Edward Palmer, Vicar of the parish was buried at Ringmer, Sussex on 11 Jan 1747/48. [4]
The will of Edward's brother Nathaniel includes a daughter Mary in the bequests.
