Biography

Harrison was born about 1871. He was married first to Emma A. Parlett in 1893, who died before 1900, then to Bessie May Chapman in 1900. He passed away in 1948.

Note

Some sources imply that Harrison was born about 1866, but the 1870 census shows that his parents, Ebenezer and Sarah, had been married within the year of the census and had no children yet. Harrison is first mentioned in the 1880 census, aged 9.

Also, some sources have Sarah's maiden name as Beardsley. But the 1880 census shows a 70-year-old man named Harrison Becksmith living with them. Perhaps her father, or grandfather?
