Biography

Robert Palmer was born in 1662 in Richmond County, Virginia, the child of John and Sarah. He married first Prudence Jeffery and they had seven children together between 1699 and 1710. He then married second Martha Jeffery Freeman and they had six children together between 1719 and 1727. He died on March 12, 1732, in Farnham, Virginia, at the age of 70.

Robert Palmer owned one slave, Moody, that he bequeathed to his son Joseph in his will recorded in 1733 after his death.
