Parents: William C Palmer (1860 - 1894) Lucy Eliza Jackett Riley (1865 - 1944) Gerald was born in 1893. Gerald Palmer ... He passed away in 1957.^[1] He registered for the draft in WW II in 1942 - so 12/28/1939 as DOD is not correct and 7/12/1957 has been placed in the DOD field based on findagrave photo- He likely was divorced from his wife Christina since on her death record she was listed with a maiden name. Also while she died in California, her former husband was in Wisconsin in 1942. So they were at least likely separated then
