Francis Pargiter was born about 1607 in Greatworth, Northamptonshire. He was the son of William Pargiter and Abigail Willoughby.
He died 13 Oct 1686 and was buried 20 Oct 1686 at St Peter's, Brackley, Northamptonshire. His inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of Mr Francis Pargiter of London, Merchant, the third son of William Pargiter Esq and Abigail his wife. He dyed in London October the 13th and was buried here October the 20th in the year of our Lord 1686 and in the 80th year of his age."[1]
In his will dated 10 Jan 1685, Francis Pargiter of London, Merchant, born Greetworth, Northamptonshire, mentions his sister, Elizabeth Smith, widow
