Francois Parisien was born on 13 Sep 1828 to Bonaventure Parisien and Marguerite, a Saulteaux woman. Baptism took place at St. Boniface on 11 Jun 1829.

Francois married Annie Sayis (daughter of Francois Sayis (Sahys) and Marguerite, a Saulteaux woman) at St. Norbert on 10 Jan 1860.
