Research Notes

DOB confirmed as 1866 however it was noted he was born in July 1868 on the scrip that his father claimed, which may have been an error made by the clerk, or by his father, or the priest misunderstood his age at the time of his baptism. This may be something to further research, although if you look at the death entry, he was 17 at the time of death in January 1884, which would be in line with a birth of 1866.
location of birth has been recorded in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This is because the family moved from St-Norbert to Saskatchewan. When you do more research you will find that the family travelled between the two locations a few times.
While working on this profile, I added his parents and one sibling, however there are several more siblings that can be added. Further research would be needed to add them all.
This person had been listed as son of Jean Baptiste Parisien and Rose Pelletier. I removed them as parents because they were too young to be his parents.
