Susan R Steverson was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Militia District Lithonia town, DeKalb County, Georgia for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born August 1863 in Georgia and had been married fifteen years. She was the mother of seven children of which five were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William J Steverson, daughter Miram M Steverson, son Mark A Steverson, daughter Ressie P Steverson, daughter Florenc A Steverson and daughter Mariom M Steverson.^[2]

Susan R Stephenson was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 4 Stone Mountain Street, Lithonia, DeKalb County, Georgia for the May 5, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1864 in Georgia and married. She lists her occupation as a saleslady in a grocery store. She has had ten children of which seven are still living as seen in the image of the original census. Susan P Stephenson died February 15, 1947 in DeKalb County, Georgia.^[7]
