Mary Parke was born in Ballyloan, County Carlow, Ireland in 1693, the daughter of Quakers Thomas and Rebecca Parke.[1][2] She married Thomas Valentine in Ireland in 1715.[3][4]They had at least four children, Robert, Thomas, John, and Jonathan. [5] When they emigrated to Pennsylvania they settled in New Providence and brought a certificate from the Carlow Friends Meeting in Ireland to the New Garden Meeting. She passed away in Pennsylvania, USA.
