Biography

John was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on December 27, 1862. He passed away on September 24, 1949 in San Mateo, California, USA. [1] He was the eldest son of pioneers, John Parker Jr. John Parker and Mary Ann Munn

In 1889 John married Emma Jane Johnson[2], daughter of John Johnson and Mary Daley. The couple lived in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada with their four children until about 1910 with they moved the family to Seattle, Washington, USA [3]. By 1920 the family had moved further south to the San Francisco Peninsula where John worked as a butcher in San Francisco[4] and Emma ran a boarding house in San Mateo.
