Hi - my mothers Parkers left NC and settled in the Mississippi Territory ... seems there were two brothers or first cousins, John & Jacob that eventually settled in Jasper County Ms. Anyway, we belong to Family Group 28 in the YDNA Parker Project at FamilyTreeDNA ..... YDNA markers for the most part are static over 10 to 20 generations which allows folks with the same biological surname to be grouped together by their numeric markers in Family Groups even if your most recent common ancestor is 10 generations ago ... Does anyone know which Family Group this Parker Family belongs to ?

thanks, Lawrence Elmore son of Faye Carolyn Parker

Clearly, there are errors in this ancestry....the wife attached here did not marry until 15 Jan 1798, there are a least 3 marriage for men named Hardy Parker....this needs to be cleaned up. Can I help?

Parker-14021 and Parker-4908 appear to represent the same person because: same information, mother cannot be Rachel, as the father did not marry her for years afterward

Parker-14021 and Parker-4908 are not ready to be merged because: mothers are named differently. More research needs to be done before these profiles are merged.
