Benjamin Ambrose[1][2][3] "Ben"[4] Parker was born 01 Sep 1910[5][4][6] in Texas[7][8] to William O and Cora E. Parker.[9]

He married Martha[8][7] Albertine King[1][2][10][5] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Patricia Joy "Patsy" Parker was born 11 Jul 1934 in Dallas County, Texas.[2][8][7] She passed away 27 Dec 2009 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas[3] and is buried in Grove Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.[11]
  2. Peggy Jean[7] Parker was born 01 Feb 1938 in Dallas County, Texas.[1][8]

Ben died 15 Aug 1990[4][6][5] and is buried in Grove Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.[5]

    Spears, Patricia Joy (Parker) Patricia Joy Spears, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2009, at her home in Dallas, Texas, where she was surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Dallas, Texas on July 11, 1934, the first child of Martha Albertine (King) and Benjamin Ambrose Parker. She graduated from Dallas' Woodrow Wilson High School in 1951 and the University of North Texas in Denton with degrees in Education and Foreign Languages. She was a devoted member of Delta Gamma; past Sigma Delta Pi Vice-President and member of the Rally Committee. She was preceded in death in 2008 by her husband of 52 years, Stephen Glen Spears. Patricia was a Christian woman, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved everyone and was loved by everyone. She saw God's good in each person and will be remembered for her quick wit, constant smile and sweet, gentle and loving spirit. All who knew her will carry her loving spirit to pass on to others. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, 6-8 p.m. at Grove Hill Funeral Home. The celebration of Patricia's life will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Grove Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance or to another of her favorite charities, the ASPCA. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Ann Adams, and son, Stephen Jeffrey Spears and his wife, Karen; three grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Spears, Cheyenne Adams and Benjamin Spears; sister, Peggy Millet and her husband, Frank; her aunt Claudia Irene Jones, her two sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Spears and Sara Mays; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
