Biography

Daniel was born about 1700. He was the son of Richard Parker and Elizabeth Unknown. He passed away before 1781.

Daniel Parker made his will in Gates Co., NC 30 November 1780, and it was probated in May Court, 1781 names wife Mary. grandson Daniel son of Luke. sons Demsey, Isaac and Robert. daughters Sarah Horton, Ruth Riddick, Judah Griffin and Mary Chitrel.[1]

A deed,#20 H-1-249 21 December 1751, states" Richard PARKER of the upper parish of Nancemond Co (VA) to Daniel PARKER of Chowan Co. in N. C., 350 A~.love and good will. towards sd. Daniel PARKER his uncle, but more especially for sum of 10 sh. .land in Chowan Co. .whereon sd. Daniel PARKER now liveth..beg. at Peter PARKERS Mill swamp thence binding on the lands of Richd PAKKER and John Moore or on land which sd. Daniel bought of Fra. Pugh, then by lmt on or near the county line, then to corner in Galberry pocoson, then to tree in the fork of Mare Branch, down the sd. Mare Branch to 1st sta..which sd. tract was granted to Richd PARKER grandfather to the partie to these presents who never had disposed of the same in his life time and dying without~will that is known of the sd. land descend to sd. Richd PARKER as heir at law to his Grandfather.
