Charles L. Parker was born on 25 Feb 1834 in New York, the son of Peter and Lucy Parker.[1]
In 1880, C. L. Parker, a 45 year old farmer b. New York, lived in Delaware Precinct, Spokane, Washington, with his wife Catherine, and 9 children.[2]
Charles LaFayette Parker died on 30 April 1908 in North Beach, Coos, Oregon, of apparent heart disease. He was buried at the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery, Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon, USA: Plot: Row B, Block 219, Plot 13. She was survived by his wife and children: Wm. I. Parker; Geo. W. Parker; Mrs. Lucy E. Myers; Mrs. Sadie E. Newkirk; Mrs. Emma M. Barnes; Mrs. Katherine E. Jenkins; John C. Parker; James E. Parker; Mrs. Blanche Russell; and Miss Myrtle E. Parker. Two children were already dead. According to the obituary, his grandfather served under Gen. LaFayette in the American Revolution.[1]
