Named (first) as son of Azricam Parker in the latter's 1738 will.

That later-named daughters are married, suggests James was an adult by 1738, therefore born no later than 1718, and probably by 1710.

There's a Currituck will for a James Parker proved 23 July 1769 here. If it's his, his wife (not named) is living; the children named in it include:
