20 Aug 1756 Josiah Parker bought land of Stephen Shephard (Sarem). Robert Parker owned the land next to the land Josiah bought of Stephen Shephard in 1756.

Possession of the bounds 25 Feb 1756 Chowan Co. Edward Hare his land dun, Edward Hare his land dun (sic) Isaac Williams, his land dun, present Edward Hare, Isaac Williams. Stweard (sic) Pipkins his land dun, Stephen Shepard his land dun, Roberd Parker, his land dun, present Stuard Pipkin, Stephen Shepard, & Robert Parker.

18 Feb 1782 Josiah Parker came into Court and Confessed his begetting a Bastard Child on the body of Naomi Williams. Ordered that he give Security in the sum of One Hundred pounds Gold and Silver money at the same time Moor Carter and Thomas Vann came into Court and offered themselves as Securitys for keeping the said Child from becoming Chargable to the said County.

17 Feb 1783 Josiah Parker to be summoned for jury duty in May.

20 Aug 1783 Josiah Parker to attend next session as  jury man.
