Sir Hyde Parker, 8th Bt. was born at Melford Hall, Suffolk in 1785. He was the son of Sir Harry Parker, 6th Bt. and Bridget Cresswell.
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Parker, of Melford Hall, on 1 April 1830. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for West Suffolk from 1832-35. He was appointed High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1837. He died unmarried on 21 March 1856, aged 71.
