They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 4 daughters. They had 12 children: Benjamin, Sarah Ellen, Thomas J., Eliza J., Josiah, Cynthia Ann, Charlotte, Samuel Layfayette, Jesse A., Lorenzo Dow, James Madison, and John W.

She lived in Bienville, Bienville, Louisiana, United States in 1850 and Toro, Sabine, Louisiana, United States in 1880. (or Homebeck), Louisiana, United States, at the age of 79, and was buried in Vernon, Louisiana, United States.
