Biography

Phillip Parker was born around 1663[1] in Accomack County, Virginia[2] He is the son of George Parker and Florence Cade.[3]

Phillip's father died before October 7, 1674. He inherited, along with his brother Charles, all other land belonging to his father and not already bequeathed to his brothers, George and John.[4]

By 1695, Philip appears to have married a woman named Elizabeth

According to a 1699 Deed of Sale, Philip was working as a Cooper.

Footnotes

  1. No source for the birth date of 1663. His father refers to him and his brother, Charles, as his two youngest sons. Suppose Phillip is the fourth child.
  2. No source for this birth place. Could have been Northampton County?
  3. #Will-Parker-1963 Phillip is, by definition, the Phillip mentioned in Will-Parker-1963. His mother may not have been Florence Cade, but it seems likely.
  4. #Will-Parker-1963 No evidence yet regarding the land actually inherited.
