No one has provided any evidence for the marriage to William Gray. An Elizabeth Parker did marry Samuel Gary in Roxbury, Massachusetts 6 Dec 1669. However, in WikiTree another Elizabeth Parker [Parker-16041], born 29 Apr 1649 in Roxbury, the daughter of Edmund Parker, is said to have married Samuel Gary in Roxbury in 1669. Which one married Samuel Gary? At first glance the one born in Roxbury would seem to be the better choice. However, W.H.M.A. says that James Parker's daughter Elizabeth [Parker-3781] born in Woburn married him, and James in his will makes a bequest to his daughter Elizabeth Gary.

There is also confusion as to death. Both profiles for Elizabeth Parker say that she died 20 Nov 1676. Parker-16041 says Roxbury, Massachusetts, and Parker-3781 says Roxbury, Connecticut.

I believe I acquired this profile when I adopted a "family" of profiles for some reason. As so often happens, I am not related. Would you like to be added to work on this mystery?

Elizabeth of Roxbury married Samuel Gary. Elizabeth of Woburn married William Gary. Neither Elizabeth Parker Gary had children. I updated both profiles and fixed the DOD on Elizabeth of Woburn. I added a secondary source Gary Genealogy, but marriage and death records need to be added and are probably easily accessible on FamilySearch.

William and Samuel Gary were brothers. Both married an Elizabeth Parker. One was born in Roxbury and one was born in Woburn. Both marriages took place in Roxbury. The marriages currently in WikiTree seem reasonable, but it appears to me that we do not have any documentary evidence that clearly shows which brother married which Elizabeth. Samuel’s wife Elizabeth was a first wife whom he married when he was about 21. We might expect that he would marry a local girl. William’s wife Elizabeth was a second wife whom he married when was about 49. Both parties had had time to meet people from other towns.

Iveseen the same marriage records for Samuel and Elizabeth I’ve readin most of the county files and no marriage for Elizabeth and Willam. But I’ve read of the marriages in Roxbury in both the. Maine and Connecticut books it’s like all 3 states or county records have some other same records. I have Samuel s marriage date Elizabeth s death date is September 12 1715 Roxbury Suffolk, Massachusetts.she is in my tree Samuel remarried Martha Clark June 19 1677 in Roxbury Suffolk Massachusetts.

Aah, from James Parkers will. "He bequeathed to his w. Eunice, his daus., Elizabeth “Gary” (or [p. 536] Geary, or as I understand the modern form to be Gerry)". His will was written in 1700, which suggests that Elizabeth was still alive.

WHMA (Boston Transcript as re-printed Parker in America). Gives her marriage to Samuel Geary of Roxbury, Mass. Family Search gives her marriage Dec 6, 1669 to Samuell Gary in Roxbury, Mass. Our family tree has "William / Samuel Geary" of Roxbury, MA, but no further detail. So, I cannot offer a lot more info, but I would question the "Connecticut", and look to Roxbury, Suffolk, Mass.
