Biography

He had a house in Gloucester, 1647. Sold out there '24th of 8m, 1651' and was the same year a grantee at New London. He appears to have been wholly engaged in marine affairs - sending out vessels and sometimes going himself to sea.

Samuel Chester, William Wellman, and Ralph Parker were co-owners of a ship called "New London Tryall", the first merchant ship at New London. Source: http://www.schenectadyhistory.org/families/hmgfm/chester.html

According to "History of New London" (by Caulkins), page 71, Parker lived "at the head of Close Cove, and Wellman on the same cove, south-east of Parker."

What evidence is there that he immigrated with the Blinman Company? Anderson's Great Migration Directory doesn't include him, which means that they found no evidence that he was in New England in 1640. Lots of people who did not immigrate with Blinman went with him to New London (eg William Keeney and John Coit).
