Sarah Norphlet (Weathers) Mitchell's son, Lafayette Weathers Mitchell, wrote in a 1904 family history letter that " My Grandmother Weathers was a Harris of the North Carolina Harris family, from whom the Tennessee branch of the Harris stock sprung. Isoom [sic] G. Harris, one of Tennessee’s most brilliant men, was one of the same family. He was governor of Tennessee, then elected United States Senator for several terms which position he filled till the time of his death." All verifiable information in this letter has proven true, albeit with a few misspellings of names.

Parker-25332 and Parker-9038 appear to represent the same person because: Matching names, approximate DPOBs, and the fact that Parker-9038 was "a Harris of the NC Harris family" (read her bio) strongly suggest that these are the same woman.
